These terms govern your use of the Ocea G. Jones community campaign website, operated by LiveUp Empowerment Network, NFP. By using the site or opting in to our messaging, you agree to these terms.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse our forms, accounts, or messaging. We may suspend access that is abusive or harmful to the community or to other users.

SMS / text messaging program terms

By checking the (unchecked-by-default) SMS consent box and providing your mobile number on one of our forms, you consent to receive text messages from LiveUp Empowerment Network, NFP (the Ocea G. Jones community campaign).

• Program & message types: transactional and informational texts, including appointment and event confirmations, event reminders, and community updates.
• Message frequency: varies depending on your activity and our programs.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier’s plan.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts at any time.
• Help: reply HELP, or email hello@oceagjones.com.
• Carriers: supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, service, or participation.

Ambassador accounts

If you create a Neighborhood Ambassador account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content & intellectual property

Content on this site is owned by LiveUp Empowerment Network, NFP or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Anything you submit remains yours, but you grant us permission to use it to operate our programs.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site and our messaging are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiveUp Empowerment Network, NFP is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site or our messages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
