Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LiveUp Empowerment Network, NFP (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the Ocea G. Jones community campaign website, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this website and our programs.

Information we collect

  • Details you submit on our forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message, availability, or notes you provide when you contact us, volunteer, register for an event, book an appointment, enter a contest, or sign up as a Neighborhood Ambassador.
  • Account information — if you create an Ambassador account, your email and a securely hashed password.
  • Usage information — basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used (for example, via Google Analytics), to help us improve it.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and requests for support.
  • To coordinate volunteering, events, appointments, contests, and Neighborhood Ambassador groups, including sending you confirmations and reminders.
  • With your consent, to send you community updates and notifications about our programs.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in by checking the SMS consent box and providing your mobile number, we send transactional and informational text messages — such as confirmations, reminders, and community updates.

No mobile information or phone numbers collected for SMS are sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, service, or participation.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site and our messaging — for example, Amazon Web Services for hosting, email, and SMS delivery — and only to the extent needed to provide those services. As noted above, SMS consent information is never shared. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our programs and for legitimate record-keeping, then delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to remove your information at any time.

Children’s privacy

Some programs (such as youth contests) may involve minors. Where a program is directed to children, we collect only the information needed to run it and expect a parent or guardian to provide it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children outside of those programs.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from texts by replying STOP, update your contact preferences from your Ambassador account, or contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
